They had the variety of carpet and marble tile I wanted and needed to make the replacement selections, and at prices that were lower than the big home improvement and specialty flooring stores. Since I had to stay within the allowance given by the insurance company or pay the difference out of pocket, this was important, and allowed me to replace my damaged flooring with the beautiful, high quality materials I wanted. The store staff were knowledgeable and helpful, and the installers were friendly, fast and did a wonderful job. Plus, they left absolutely no sign they had even been there, except that one day I had damaged carpet and marble flooring and then one day I didn't. The entire process from start to finish was painless, easy and pleasant. I am almost happy I had the storm damage! If you need any type of flooring, check them out first, you will be glad you did.

Rather than having to go to the sales room, Scott had the carpet samples delivered to my house. Scott kept in touch to keep the project on track. The installers were prompt and extremely friendly, kind and efficient. Few businesses today understand the meaning of customer service. However, Scott and Simmons understand this concept completely. Chris H. - Overall, very pleased. - We recently purchased carpet from Simmons for four bedrooms. We were very pleased with the type of carpet that was delivered. The installers did a great job of installing the carpet as well. Scott Gaulden was great to work with and was very responsive to our needs. The only complaint I have is that the installers showed up an hour late the day of installation and an hour and a half late the next morning to put our furniture back together. Other than this minor setback, everything went as planned and we are very pleased with the carpet and installation job. I would still recommend Simmons to anyone in need of replacing their carpet.

Cheri M. - Simmons Floor Carpet and Tile Installation - I wanted to use a local company for some carpeting and tile in my office, guest bedroom and small bathroom. I had heard good reviews about Simmons so I thought that I would give them a try. I walked in on Friday and worked out with Jeff exactly what I was looking for and he was kind enough to come to my house early Saturday morning to measure on his way into work. We received the quote and went in the following Saturday to make the down payment and confirm the products we were going to use. They called me on Tuesday and we had everything installed the following weekend. The person that did the installation was excellent and worked with us on details and options of how to install the tile. The entire process from working Jeff at Simmons and Ray the carpet installer was wonderful and the rooms look fantastic! I will definitely refer Simmons to other people and will use them again in the future.

Jeff K. - Almost like a small-town personality with big-city service. We had pretty substantial foundation work done on our house, and the floor had to be destroyed in the process. We used Simmons Floors to replace a hardwood floor, about four weeks ago. We price-shopped around and worked specifically with Scott Simmons. I can't speak for the rest of the company but we just found that Scott was offering the best combination of price and service for our price-point and size of our project. It took about eight days altogether to do the job, including a weekend in which they didn't work. Everything turned out great. Previously, the entire downstairs had hardwood floor and then we replaced about three-quarters with hardwood and put tile everywhere else, anywhere water could go. We were limited somewhat by our budget, but I think for what we were able to afford, it looks great.

But more importantly, when there were some minor things that needed to be fixed after the job was done, you guys stepped up to take care of all our concerns and make sure the project was a success. Hunter H. - I was looking for both wood and carpeting for over 2000 square feet in my house. I always look for value and do my homework before going forward. First, I was very impressed with Scott Gaulden and the professionalism he showed throughout the process. He came over and personally measured all the floors and then worked with me to set up a plan that met my financial needs. Then we went through a process of deciding when it was important to spend and extra buck and when it didn't make sense, we came up with a plan that I felt very comfortable with. I also enjoyed working with someone who had been around the block several times and someone I thought I could trust and would make things right if there were any issues (nothing is more important than trust/honesty in going through this kind of upgrade). I knew from the start that he would make things work and wouldn't leave until I was satisfied with the work. He didn't let me down.

The wood floors look beautiful and Scott did work with me to ensure things were corrected when needed and we were both happy with the work. His workers were great and always left everything clean and communicated with me very well when unique situations came up. Scott, even ran to Home Depot for me and bought protective cloth for all my furniture. He just always wanted to ensure that things were done correctly.

There were no surprises and to the end Scott wanted to ensure that we were in agreement to any choices or $ issues that came up. I would definitely use Scott again and would recommend him to anyone. This is the type of small business that clients can feel very comfortable in using.

Jeremy S. - We shopped around quite a bit looking for the perfect color and texture floor and finally found it at Simmons. They were not pushy and made us feel at ease when making our decision. The price was very comparable to other stores but I feel we got a much better quality floor. We were leaving to go out of town when our wood arrived and they worked with us to schedule the installation so it would be complete by the time we got back. When we arrived home the house didn't even look the same. The floors changed the entire look of the house for the better. Kelly B. - We had cork floors installed in our home. This is the second time we've worked with Scott and we are very pleased.
We went in looking for wood floors, but with our active family and dogs Scott recommended a couple different options. We liked the idea of cork being a "green" product. We loved his samples - there were plenty to choose from!! The floor is wonderful. The dogs running and playing on it aren't incredibly loud like they would have been with other options. It's been easy to clean up after kids! And we feel better for it from the ecological perspective! It was as expensive as wood floors but will be better for the busy family and the constant in's and out's of our life!
